Have you always dreamt about having your own business?

Are you getting sick of working for someone else?

Even if the answer is no to these questions, read on to see whether it’s time to consider a significant life change.

1. You wake up every morning with a sense of dread

If you wake up feeling miserable about the day ahead and find it difficult to get out of bed, this is the biggest sign that you’re not in the right job. There’s nothing worse than dragging yourself out of bed to do a job that doesn’t inspire you. You need to find something that makes it easy to get up in the morning. You work most of your life so it only makes sense to do a job which you’re passionate about.

2. You live for the weekend

Many people live for the weekend, but is this the best way to live? As noted above, we spend more hours of our life working than not working yet most people’s priority is to be happy. Why waste your life waiting to enjoy yourself, when you could look forward to each day, every day?

3. You don’t care about your day to day activities

Think about what you do every day. Do you enjoy your daily tasks? Or are you just doing them on auto-pilot, waiting for the day to end? Imagine if you had a job where you enjoyed everything you did! If you had your own business, you would look forward to getting things done as every task would be important to you.

4. You’ve become complacent

If you can do your job with your eyes closed, then it’s become too easy for you. And when your job becomes easy, you become complacent. And what happens when you become complacent? You get bored.

5. You’re not learning anything new

Our brains need to be constantly stimulated and if they’re not, then we get stuck in a rut and stop learning anything new. When we learn, we activate our brain muscles, improving our memory, focus and overall health. You should aspire for your job to constantly challenge you so that you can grow as a person.

If any of these things apply to you, it’s time to think about what you want from life and take the big step towards improving the quality of your life and enjoying your life!

We hope we’ve inspired some of you to make that scary change and living a fulfilled life by having a rewarding job.
