A non-fiber, stable bitumen emulsion of medium brushing consistency. Dark brown in color Bituproof Roofing Emulsion dries to a black flexible coating which is odor and taint-free. Apply by the brush a minimum of two coats at 0.75 liters per meter squared per coat. Bituproof Proofing Emulsion may be applied to a damp surface but must be able to dry before the emulsion will cure to a waterproof film. Allow 24 hours between coats and apply each coat at right angles to the previous coat. For maximum strength durability and flexibility, the coating can be reinforced with open woven glass fiber or polyester membrane. Protect from rain and frost until cured.
