Product Description

Vitax fruit tree grease is a great product for monitoring and protecting against pest activity on fruit and other trees. A sticky substance containing rapeseed oil, fruit tree grease is an effective means of stopping pests, such as the winter moth and mottled umber moth, in their tracks as they try and climb the trunks of trees from October to early December. Protection is also provided against the March moth, which invades in early spring. Vitax fruit tree grease works by trapping the wingless, female adults giving a good indication of the level of infestation on each tree. The grease should be applied completely around the trunk of the tree at approximately 45cm above the ground. Re-apply as required to maintain stickiness.
