Liberon Pure Tung Oil Clear 500ml 65111

A natural and pure non-toxic superior oil for creating the perfect finish on fine furniture made from oak mahogany and walnut. Water heat and alcohol resistant Suitable for garden furniture and exterior woodwork. Particularly suitable for use on surfaces such as kitchen worktops chopping boards tables toys etc. Dries to an elegant matt-satin sheen. Readily penetrates bare wood allowing it to age gracefully and develop a natural patina. Application - Ready to use. Apply Tung Oil using a brush or lint-free cotton cloth. For ease of application dilute the first one or two coats with up to 50 percent white spirit. Allow the oil to penetrate for 20 to 30 minutes then wipe off the excess oil using a clean lint-free cloth. Allow to dry for 24 hours between coats. Apply further coats of Tung Oil as above, reducing the amount of white spirit used with subsequent coats. Again allow 24 hours to dry.
