Product Description

Rich in magnesium, sulphur and oxygen. Occurs naturally as a pure mineral and is named after the town of Epsom in Surrey where salt was produced from a bitter saline spring. Highly soluble in wateer Epsom Salt has medicinal properties and can be used externally as well as internally. Used in bath salts and flotation therapy, scrubs and sole water where magnesium sulphate is absorbed into the skin thereby reducing inflammation. The salt is naturally present in certain mineral waters.
