Rustin clear plastic coating is superior to all other wood finishes because it is based on Butylated Urea-Formaldehyde plasticized with Alkyd and reinforced with Melamine. It contains 50 percent solid thus giving an extremely high build per coat. Hardened chemically by the addition of a hardener it will stay usable for 2 to 3 days once mixed. Unmixed clear plastic coating will keep for several years. The finish can be completely controlled from mirror gloss to satin or matt and is touch dry in 1 hour. Complete outfit contains 250ml clear plastic coatng 63ml hardener 135ml thinners burnishing cream and full instructions. Quick drying clear finish. The toughest finish for all furniture and interior woodwork. Will not crack yellow or craze. Heat impact alcohol and solvent resistant. Can be burnished to a mirror like gloss or rubbed to a satin or matt finish. Ideal for wood turning and marquetry. Covers approximately 4m sq.
