Stanely FMHTO33864 FatMax Magnetic Measure Tape - 5M

The Stanley Fatmax Magnetic Tape Measure has been designed to provide accurate measurements when working with metal objects. On traditional magnetic tapes the magnet is attached directly onto the end hook. This can lead to inaccurate measurements that are as much as 3mm out, which can make a huge difference with materials such as steel. Stanley has solved this problem by positioning the magnet so that it operates independently of the end hook for extra precision. This patented magnet position ensures 100% accuracy with pull measurements. The multi-catch end hook also provides accurate pull and push measurements on non-metal surfaces.   The Mylar blade coating is extremely durable providing up to 10 times more resistance to abrasion compared to lacquered blades, while the blade armor coating on the first 100mm reduces the risk of tip breakage by 95%. This tape features a wide 32mm blade that makes the numbers much easier to read, as well as a bi-material case with cushion grip for improved durability and comfort. The blade is marked with metric graduations in centimetres and millimetres.
