Westland lawn sand can be used to reduce moss in lawns and other fine turfs if it is an issue in your garden lawn. For lawns with thick soils, lawn sand also offers certain drainage advantages. Your grass should thicken and turn a beautiful shade of green after being treated with Westland lawn sand. Approximately 7 to 14 days after treatment, remove the dead moss. The moss will turn black as it dies.
