Due to the metallised surface of the cotton cover the heat of the iron is reflected back through the fabric that you are ironing which makes for a faster and smoother finish every time. It's the ideal way to get the best results. Reflected heat means a better finish. Whilst the cover has been designed to fit Brabantia's size C ironing board range. It will fit just as well on most other makes of board of the same size due to the cord fastening and Brabantia's stretch-system. This means you get a really flat crease-free smooth ironing surface and it also makes the cover easy to fix in place.
