Antithrombotic and anti-inflammatory preparation for cutaneous treatment of inflammation of the veins such as thrombophlebits, haematoma and for loosening and softening of hard scars. Hirudoid forte cream contains Organo-heparinoid Luitpold in the high dose of 40,000 U. per 100g cream. By using Hirudoid forte the therapeutically valuable properties unfold their effects by the percutaneous route. Hirudoid forte cream accelerates the absorption of haematomas and swelling, inhibits the formation and further growth of superficial microthrombi. It has a high affinity to human tissue and is very well tolerated.
