Product Description

The Kidde is a battery-operated carbon monoxide alarm that uses the patented Nighthawk electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor to help protect you and your family from the dangers of carbon monoxide. The Kidde alarm is easy to install, and the digital display shows carbon monoxide levels in parts per million, updating every 15 seconds. When the Kidde alarm is operating, if hazardous carbon monoxide levels are not present its LED will flash green every 30 seconds. In a carbon monoxide emergency, the red LED pulses, and an 85 decibel horn sounds at specific intervals until the carbon monoxide threat is eliminated. The unit is powered by AA batteries that come included in the kit. This model also comes complete with an alarm function that informs you when the batteries are running low and need changing.
