Known for its calming and softening effects this unperfumed black soap is a 100% natural product. A thick, dark paste made from saponified olive and copra oil and is rich in natural glycerin. Traditionally used in Hammams as part of the process of cleansing and rejuvenating the skin, when used with water it becomes creamy, foams slightly, and helps to purify the skin and remove dead skin cells. It can be applied to the face and body and will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. For best results after a hot bath/shower apply to damp skin then scrub vigorously with an exfoliating glove (see below) to remove dead skin cells and rinse. Black soap can also be used by men looking for effective but gentle shaving. Simply wet face and massage a small amount into beard.
